Every piece of data SemaiSens generates — from raw NDVI rasters to zonal statistics and scouting reports — belongs to you and is available for download at any time. Export individual fields and reports from the dashboard with a single click, or automate bulk exports for entire seasons using the REST API. All exports are delivered as standard, widely supported file formats compatible with GIS software, farm equipment, spreadsheet tools, and business intelligence platforms.

Available Export Formats

Exporting from the Dashboard

1

Open the field or report

Navigate to the field, analysis layer, or report you want to export using the Fields or Reports menu in the left sidebar.
2

Click the Export button

Select the Export button — the downward arrow icon (↓) — in the top-right corner of the field or report view. A format selection panel slides open.
3

Select your format

Choose the export format that matches your intended use. If you are exporting an index raster for use in a GIS tool, select GeoTIFF. For prescription maps destined for John Deere equipment, select ISO-XML.
4

Download the file

Click Download. SemaiSens prepares the export and your browser downloads the file automatically. Large GeoTIFF exports may take up to 60 seconds to generate before the download begins.
When exporting a GeoTIFF, you can choose the index type (NDVI, NDRE, NDWI, etc.) and a specific date or date range from the export panel before clicking Download. Selecting a date range returns a multi-band raster with one band per available imagery date.

Bulk Export via API

For automated workflows — such as exporting end-of-season analysis for an entire farm operation — use the SemaiSens REST API. The example below requests a GeoTIFF export of NDVI imagery for a specific field over a growing season:
The API responds with an export job object. Poll the returned job_url until the status field equals "complete", then download the file from the download_url in the response. See the API reference for the full exports endpoint documentation, including available format and index options.

Export Limits by Plan

Export limits reset on the first day of each calendar month. If you reach your monthly limit before the reset date, additional exports are blocked until the following month — or you can upgrade your plan at any time from Settings → Billing.Bulk API exports count toward the same monthly limit as dashboard exports. Contact support@example.com to request a temporary limit increase for harvest season or other high-volume periods.

Data Ownership

Your farm data is yours — always. SemaiSens does not sell, license, or share your field data with third parties. When you export data or delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from SemaiSens’s servers within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting support@example.com.
